A London Employment Tribunal has upheld a claim by 2,010 judges that they suffered age, race or sex discrimination as a consequence of changes made to the pension arrangements in 2015. Older judges could remain with the existing arrangement while younger judges had to accept the less generous pension arrangements. The Government’s considering an appeal to the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
